In Search of Creative Leadership

at Leicester Business School, UK, on September 18th 2007

E.C.L.O. and the Leicester Business School are pleased to invite you to participate to a one day workshop jointly developed by both organisations. The aim of this workshop is to address ways of releasing and harnessing creative talent within businesses, the public sector and social enterprises.

Is creativity manageable? Does creative talent exist in some individuals or in all people? Is there an environment in which creativity thrives in an organisation? Can creativity be taught or assessed in a university or business school setting?

The philosophy of the event will be to provide a limited input, from keynote speakers, on approaches and experiences, in order to trigger discussion and debate among the participants. To support this, the programme will be structured in themed discussion groups covering:-

  • Coaching, assessing, facilitating creativity
  • The challenges facing leaders in creative industries
  • Climates for creativity
  • Intuition gaps, stimulating tacit knowledge
  • Semi-structures for climates of informality
  • Social enterprise
