E.C.L.O. Research Strategy

It is a vital element in E.C.L.O.'s mission to bring to the European Society increased awareness of knowledge about how companies and communities enhance good learning. Accordingly, E.C.L.O. is first of all a learning and knowledge creating organisation. A research strategy is a key element in the overall mission of E.C.L.O.. It is the intention of ECLO to bring research in social, organisational and managerial fields to the highest possible standards.

  • E.C.L.O. will inspire and initiate research projects that can fuel organisational learning.
  • E.C.L.O. will start and man projects aiming at developing research methods in the field. Partly together with external partners in learning communities.
  • E.C.L.O. will act as a fund raiser and qualified advisors for members who intend to initiate such activity.
  • E.C.L.O. will encourage members to publish peer reviewed articles in order to continually heighten the consciousness and level of discourse leading to increased respect for research in this field.
  • E.C.L.O. will work for the continuous effort to keep E.C.L.O. a learning community being itself a real time action research project thus taking its own medicine.
  • E.C.L.O. will, as part of the research strategy and mission, secure that the press is regularly informed, so E.C.L.O. and E.C.L.O.'s activities and results will be publicly known.
  • Likewise the members will take part in the discussions of issues regarding Learning Organisation discussed in the newspapers in the respective countries.
