2008 CONFERENCE - HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

The Venue

The four-star Danubius Hotel Gellert is a majestic hotel, located on the banks of the Danube at the foot of Gellert Hill,. This impressive location is within walking distance of Budapest's most fashionable shopping and business district with a view over one of the most beautiful sights of Budapest, the Liberty Bridge. The hotel is one of the few erected on the right bank of the River Danube (Buda) and was opened to the public on September 24th, 1918, in the final days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. As such it reflects the grandeur of that empire including its stunning thermal bath and spa. No faceless city centre hotel chain here!
