Associate Member - Anders Ortenblad
Anders Örtenblad is a
researcher and teacher at Halmstad University, Sweden.
His main research interests are management ideas
connected to knowledge and learning, and the spread and
popularity of these and other management ideas. He has
published articles on these subjects in Human Relations,
Human Resource Development Quarterly, International
Journal of Management Reviews, International Journal of
Management Concepts and Philosophy, Management Learning,
Philosophy of Management and The Learning Organization.
Anders Örtenblad is also a member of the International
Editorial Board of Management Learning, Sage
Publications, and a member of the Editorial Advisory
Board of The Learning Organization, Emerald. In 2004 he
was awarded the journal of Management Learning’s
Reviewer Annual Prize for “your sound intellectual work
in helping pursue our joint field by way of your reviews”.
Academic Member - Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and
Informatics (Russia)

Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and
Informatics (MESI), founded in 1932, nowadays is one

countries.

Associate Member - Amanda Pearce-Burton
Amanda is founder and
Managing Director of Formation Training, a strategic
training and consultancy organisation. Amanda has led
an extensive range of bespoke training including
‘Training for Trainers’, facilitation skills, creative
problem solving and project management for a clients
including Government Departments, local authorities,
charities, arts and voluntary sector organisations.
She is an invited guest
speaker on topics including business start up, creative
thinking, entrepreneurship and skills for succeeding in
business. Amanda gives time to a number of projects
including sitting on an Executive Board for the Local
Enterprise Growth Initiative, and working with a local
school to help young people develop their enterprise
skills. Under Amanda's leadership, Formation has
achieved IIP and been given Age Positive Employer
Champion status. Last year, the company won a
Nottinghamshire BEST Business Award for developing the
skills of it’s own workforce.
Associate Member - Kashmir Sond

Kashmir started her career working for Central Television as
an Advertising Assistant in London, but moved back to
Birmingham when her contract ended (and she'd had enough of
the daily commute!).
She started her career in
training after some psychometric tests showed a 'best fit'
with training and education. Her first role was with Team
Training Ltd as an Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, and then as
an Assessor at Training for Tomorrow (formerly Sight and
Sound) where she progressed to become Internal Verifier,
Operations Manager, Training Manager and finally National
Training Manager.
As the ‘Managing Partner’ at
First Oracle, Kashmir is responsible for the general
administration of the Partnership as well as establishing
and following up new contacts. |

Network Member - The Central and East European Management Development
Association (Slovenia)
CEEMAN is an international management
development association established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating the
growth in quality of management development in central and eastern Europe.
Gradually CEEMAN has become a global network of management development
institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this
field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change. CEEMAN
has expanded to include 170 institutional and individual members from 42
countries in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.
With professional excellence as its aim, CEEMAN fosters the quality of
management development and change processes through the development of
educational, research, consulting, information, networking support, and
other related services for management development institutions and
corporations operating in the transition and dynamically changing
environments. Its holistic approach to the phenomena of change and
leadership development celebrates innovation, creativity and respect for
cultural values.
Network Member - The Baltic Management Development Association (Lithuania)
Carrying out the idea to create a regional
management development network, initiated by Universities,
Business schools, individual professors and business
professionals from the Baltic countries, the Baltic Management
Development Association (BMDA) was found at the end of 2002.
From the very beginning the Association started to induce the
quality of management development in the Baltic region and
beyond through promoting research, offering educational services
and networking opportunities for management development
institutions and business enterprises.
Bridging East and West – became the main
motto of BMDA. By establishing a virtual bridge between East
and West Management schools, especially taking into account
enriching nature of collaboration of different scientific
cultures, BMDA provides a unique opportunity for it’s members to
share the experience of transformation, rapid growth and
managing organisations for stabilisation, that is the main
feature of the New EU Member states including Baltic Countries
economy and management challenges. The focus on Baltic region
management development is also well kept.
BMDA currently unites 53 member from 16
countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, Russia,
Slovenia, United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Poland,
Georgia, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Ukraine.
Associate Member -
CJ Robison (USA)
Cynthia Jean, but prefers to be
known as CJ, has always worked in training for global
organizations - beginning as a facilitator, moved to
instructional design work, and is now consulting with
organizations on their strategy to move from a learning group in
one region to a global learning organization. She tries to keep involved
in the latest trends and challenges in the regions and feels
that ECLO might be a good group to join for a community of
practice.
Associate Member - Ray Charlton (UK)
Ray invested ten years of cutting
edge full-time work in community organisation and development in
local, nation-wide change consulting, and regional project
director roles. Following an MSc in Organisation Development he
moved into manufacturing industry, with OD, senior executive
development, personnel and learning design responsibilities. He
was Manager, Organisation Development and Executive Training for
Rover Group, contributing to company-wide culture change, total
quality, breakthrough thinking, new product launch, commercial
confidentiality and strategic education and training. He
completed an MBA at Warwick Business School. In 1990 he set up
his own business: Creativity and Commitment at Work. He is a
founder member of Transition Partnerships. Since 1988 he has
been a Visiting Tutor and Module Leader at Warwick Manufacturing
Group.

The Strategy, Operations and
Leadership Group, or SOL for short, are a subject theme
group within Caledonian Business School. Our group is
concerned with teaching, research and commercial engagement
across the management domains of general management,
strategy, operations management and leadership. As such, we
offer a host of modules in the former areas and are eager to
engage with practitioners and other stakeholders to enhance
our reputation for relevant and rigorous work. Now that you

Paul Foley, Kynesis (UK)
One of the founding
directors of Kynesis, Paul specialises in senior team development,
broad-based organisational change and facilitating strategic conversations.
Prior to consultancy, Paul worked in the pharmaceutical industry and the
wine trade in a number of sales and marketing roles. He is a member of
Council of CBI Scotland. Outwith work, Paul climbs, swims, plays football.
He collects first edition travel books, loves a wide range of music and has
the occasional glass of wine!
Associate Member - Gordon Weir, Skopeo Management

Associate Member - Mark Cole, Phd Student (UK)
Mark is interested in situated learning,
reflective practice and the application of Knowledge Management techniques
to facilitate organisational learning. He is a Phd student at the University
of Greenwich in London, where his academic research is on The discourse and
practice of professional reflection. He is a Fellow of the Institute of
Continuing Professional development and a Member of the Institute of
Reflective Practice.
Associate Member - David Settle, Quality Service Matters (UK)
David is Chairman of Quality Service Matters Ltd a management consultancy specialising in performance management, quality assurance and transformation management. His main roles in the public sector were as Chief Inspector of Schools for North Yorkshire Education Authority and Director of Education Support Services for the City of Birmingham. David's international work includes Quality Expert for the EU Tacis Managers' Training Programme, co-worker with the Director of International Affairs for the People's Republic of China to establish exchange of knowledge and skills in the treatment of epilepsy, lead trainer for the Western Cape Province of the Republic of South Africa to set up epilepsy training services in South Africa and lead education consultant working to the Vice President of The Gambia to develop education training services. David's main work currently is with the Central Manchester and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust where he acts as project manager for the Trust's transformation programme in
partnership with Manchester City Council. He also acts as Principal Consultant to the Centre for British Teachers Education Trust in its DfES work 'Building Schools for the Future'.
Academic Member - Daniel Belet, Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle (France)
For
several years, Daniel Belet has been an "Associate" member of
ECLO, working as an independent consultant specialized in management/leadership
development and organizational development . He recently took up a part time
position as Professor of Management at the Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle.
He
designs and facilitates seminars for executive education (one of his
favourite themes is
helping to develop more learning oriented organizations from an operational
standpoint) and intervene as speaker to various types of organisational
audiences. Finally he also works as a researcher specialized in leadership,
learning organizations and management development/executive education.
His work philosophy is to contribute to new and more efficient forms of leadership
and management through better utilizations of people talents, skills and energy.
SME Member - Diane Kelly, NHS Education for Scotland (UK)
We would like to welcome Diane Kelly,
Assistant Director (Continuing Professional Development) at the NHS
Education for Scotland.
Over the past 3 years she has been building a research and development
programme on how to develop and sustain learning organisations in Primary
Health Care in the UK, initially in General Practice teams. She has
been working on this in collaboration with St Andrews University. She
is also leading a similar development programme within her own organisation.
She hopes that being a member of the ECLO will allow her to share her
experiences and learn with, and from, the experiences of others. She has
been looking for a network of people who are working in the same area in a
range of contexts to maximise the potential for learning from each other and
believes she has found it in ECLO.
SME Member - Suzanne Bunniss NHS Education for Scotland (UK)
Over the past 3 years I
have been building a research and development programme on how to develop
